Christmas 2010

We had a very busy but fun Christmas this year with both sides of the family. We spent Christmas Eve at my parent's house and then went back on Christmas day after spending a few hours at our house that morning. That night we drove down to Chattanooga to spend some time with Josh's family. It was such a busy weekend that I didn't take many pictures until we settled in Chattanooga for a few days. It also might have something to do with the fact that I opened my Christmas present from Josh and his parents on Sunday...a new camera!
I hope you enjoy these few pictures from our Holidays :)
It was so exciting to have a white Christmas this year and the snow even lasted for a couple of days. We went outside on Sunday afternoon to play in it. The guys made a path in the back yard to sled on...

The morning after we got back from Chattanooga Lucy saw the Play-Doh she got for Christmas lying outside her bedroom door and she HAD to play with it right then lol. I caught some cute pictures with my new camera...

Rolling it out

Trying to figure out how to stuff it in her teapot lol

She LOVES her new play-doh :) I think she would play with it all day long if I didn't keep it hidden.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! more pics to come soon :)

Cookie Decorating

So while I'm on a roll of making late posts here are some pictures of Lucy decorating cookies at the M.O.Ms Christmas party. They were just too cute not to post :)

Big Happenings at the Andrew's Household

OK so I'm REALLY behind on blogging and almost embarrassed to make this post since it's about a month late but I figured what the heck lol...

Whenever I ask Josh to finish remodeling the kitchen he always comes up with other projects to do lol. This time I got built-ins on either side of our fireplace and a new mantle. At first I didn't think I was going to be as excited about this project as getting the kitchen finished but it makes a world of difference in our living room. It looks great! It's not done yet but you get the general idea. (notice the Fall decorations are still up so this picture is old lol...)
And...we recently expanded our table so that it fits 6 instead of just 4. I found 2 additional chairs on Craigslist about 6 months ago and Josh built a leaf to make the table bigger. It may not sound like much but it's great when we have company over to all be able to sit together...
Here's Lucy using the table for one of her favorite things...coloring :)

And, for those of you who haven't heard, our BIGGEST news is we have a baby on the way :) This picture was taken about 3 weeks ago when I was 9 weeks along. We're really excited!...the baby is due next July.

Costume Party

The M.O.Ms group had a costume party the week of Halloween. I dressed Lucy up as a ladybug (very original I know) but you can't beat $2.50 for a costume at Once Upon a Child. Plus I think every baby girl has to dress up as some sort of bug, lol
Chowing down on the snacks :)
Playing with another ladybug haha

Lucy and her friend Julia (who was a pirate like her big brother)
I wasn't planning on dressing up but I decided at the last minute that I would go as a cowgirl.
The whole gang :)

How fun!

Little Ladybug

We took Lucy to East Maryville Baptist Church on Halloween to do some trunk or treating. I tried to get some pictures on the porch before we left but she was NOT in the mood to sit still, lol. Oh well...I thought this one turned out pretty cute :)
Family picture at the church
There were people sitting on hay bales handing out the candy
Lucy didn't really know what to do at first but it didn't take her long to get the hang of it :)
so serious, lol
putting the candy in her bag

on to the next one...
saying "thank-you" :)
There were games set up in the parking lot for the kids to play and then collect candy afterwards

She threw the ball several times at this one and didn't knock anything down...
so she decided to walk right up and set the ball on top of the pins...so funny
going for the candy

digging in :)
She loved putting candy in her bag. She ate a few pieces but she mostly enjoyed collecting it and carrying it around. And she did NOT want the bag out of her site. She didn't let go of it the whole night...haha
Bowling! :)
Eating some chocolate bunnies
Getting a drink
Trying to get some more candy on the way out :)
She was so funny the whole night...I think she had a great time! :)
