Easter Sunday

I hope everybody enjoyed the beautiful weather on Sunday and was reminded of the glorious message of Christ's resurrection from the dead. "Hallelujah! He is Risen!" Our senior pastor, Bill Kittrell, spoke on the certainty of the resurrection and how it should affect our lives when we believe that Christ indeed rose from the dead. What a great message!
I tried to get some pictures of Lucy in her Easter dress but as usual she wouldn't hold still :)
Little girl on the run...
Best attempt at a family picture...thanks Anna!
After Church we had a picnic with friends and family at Sequoyah Hills Park. I brought some Easter eggs for Lucy to gather and put in her Easter basket :)
It didn't take her long to figure out what to do...She loved it!
Looking for the eggs...
...found some :)

Daddy coming over to show Lucy what to do...
Getting the hang of it :)
Pawpaw helping out :)
"Put them in the basket"

Lucy opening her Easter basket from Grammy and Pops
I think she was excited to find some chocolate bunnies in there...

Grammy opening the egg and showing her the M&M's

Mmm...this little girl LOVES chocolate
Heading over to watch Daddy play Croquet...
I think she just wanted to play with the balls :)
The delicious spread...fried chicken, baked ham, homemade potato salad, grape salad, deviled eggs, broccoli salad, fruit salad, and plenty of dessert...yum!
We fixed Lucy her own plate. She really likes to feed herself these days.
Trying to put the napkin on her head...haha
Enjoying the beautiful weather
Thanks Hedger family for inviting us along :)
Playing with Grammy's sunglasses :)

Wandering over to visit with Maggie and Aunt Boo
Seeing what Daddy is up to...
Love this one :)
"Hey, can I play too?"
Lucy has a different way to play...haha

Poor Lucy was so tired from being up all day on Sunday. I think she is still trying to recover :) It's rough when she doesn't get a nap. Hope everyone had a great Easter!
